Water Resource Management
Since 2014, I've served as a dedicated water management consultant for multiple independent oil and gas operators across Oklahoma and the Permian Basin. This extensive experience has given me comprehensive expertise in all aspects of water sourcing, transfer, treatment, and disposal operations.
As a trusted advisor, I provide strategic guidance on all aspects of water management, from field operations to executive decision-making. My hands-on experience ensures practical solutions that optimize both efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
I combine technical expertise with operational knowledge to deliver complete water management solutions. This includes coordinating equipment deployment, managing logistics, and building effective relationships with stakeholders at every level. Below are examples of successful projects that showcase my capabilities in this space.
Pond and Lake Volume for Fracs
When it comes to sourcing water for fracs, everyone knows how to estimate the volume of water in a pond or lake—I am definitely not unique in this space. Everyone also knows how important it is that you have enough water for your frac. It's not a complex task: you drive around in a boat and, using a GNSS receiver and echosounder, collect depth and position data. Then, using specialized software and shoreline data collected with a drone, you are able to arrive at an estimate of the volume of water in the pond. I, like many others, have the equipment, software, and experience to complete this task. I provide this as a service and as a value-add to my consulting services.
Planning and Mapping
I can help you source water for your frac. I can do everything that goes into that, from scouting out sources of water, to routing out and mapping the path of the temporary water line, to dealing with the landowners or regulatory agencies if you need help with that.
